Mitchell Wiatrak

When asked why he chose his specialty, Dr. Wiatrak said, “I chose urology because it is the best combination of surgery and internal medicine. I was drawn to both the intellectual and dexterous challenges this specialty offers. Much has changed over the years, and the constant learning means it is never boring.” He has been married for over 35 years to his high school sweetheart, Stacy and they have 3 children and they see them every chance they get even though they are spread out across the country. Dr. Wiatrak has lots of hobbies and interests. These include fitness, cycling, wood working, playing piano, and reading nonfiction. He also likes to make furniture, and he does his best to use only hand tools. He says, “This takes longer, but is safer and more rewarding.” Dr. Wiatrak describes himself as a dog person and has a 4-year-old Bulldog named Olive.
