PROCEPT BIOROBOTICS COOKIE POLICY

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2019

PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation (“PROCEPT BioRobotics,” “we,” “us” and “our”) uses Cookies on its Site (as defined below) to ensure that we give our visitors (including customers, patients, vendors, job applicants and employees) the best possible experience by providing you personalized information, remembering your marketing and product preferences, and helping you obtain the right information. You can find out more about Cookies, how we use them, and how to manage your preferences below.

This Policy applies to Cookies used by PROCEPT BioRobotics, our partners, and our other third parties (such as pixel tags, web beacons, JavaScript, and local storage). We will also describe what options you may have regarding those Cookies. This Policy also covers Cookies that may be used by web sites (including mobile web sites and apps) owned and/or controlled by PROCEPT BioRobotics (the “Site”).

In some cases, we may use Cookies to collect information that is personally identifiable, or that can become personally identifiable if we combine it with other information. In such cases, the most current Privacy Policy will apply in addition to this PROCEPT BioRobotics Cookie Policy.

Cookies are small files—usually consisting of letters and numbers—placed on your computer, tablet, phone, or similar device, when you use that device to visit a web site. Cookies are widely used by web site owners to make their web sites operate efficiently and provide analytic information to the website owner and/or user.

Cookies remember certain user inputs on the Site, like login information or personalized content and services, as well as feedback related to marketing and email campaigns. Persistent Cookies may hold personal data, but only if you have otherwise consented to the provision of personal data in accordance with the terms of this PROCEPT BioRobotics Cookie Policy.

Below is a description of some of the different types of Cookies we and our service providers may use on our Site and the purposes for which they are used.

Essential Cookies. These Cookies are required for the operation of our Site (for example, to enable you to log into secure areas of our web site). These Cookies enable you to move around the Site and use its features. Disabling these Cookies will hinder the Site’s performance and may make some features and services unavailable.

Analytics and Customization Cookies. These Cookies allow us to analyze activities on our Site and on other sites where we post content to improve and optimize the way our Site works. For example, we may use these types of Cookies to ensure that visitors can easily find the information they are looking for on our web sites. One way we do this is to recognize and count the number of visitors and see how they move around our web site. Analytics cookies also help us measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns.

Functional Cookies. These Cookies enable the functionality of the Site, including third-party functions. For example, these Cookies are used to recognize you when you return to our Site and enable us to personalize our content for you, greet you by name, and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region, volume control, etc.). Third-party functional Cookies that may be contained on the Site such as YouTube allows PROCEPT BioRobotics to show videos of Company products. These functional Cookies have their own identifiers and the use of such Cookies is optional but certain functions may not be usable without such Cookies.

Advertising Cookies. These Cookies record your online activities, including your visits to our Site, the pages you have visited, and the links and advertisements you have visited. This information allows us and our service providers to deliver advertisements or other communications that are more relevant to you. This may also involve partners such as publishers, data management platforms, and demand side platforms that help to manage the data.

Cookies do not damage your computer and you have choices about managing them. You can set your browser to notify you about Cookies, to refuse them, or to delete them. Refusing or deleting cookies may impact the functionality of the site. To learn more about managing cookies, refer to the section below entitled “How do I Manage Cookies?”, or search for “cookie” in the Help portion of your web browser.

Some Cookies operate from the time you visit the Site to the end of that particular web browsing session. These Cookies expire and are automatically deleted when you close your Internet browser. These Cookies are called “session” Cookies.

Some Cookies will stay on your device between browsing sessions—they do not expire when you close your browser. These Cookies are called “persistent” Cookies. The length of time a persistent Cookie stays on your device varies from Cookie to Cookie. We and others use persistent Cookies for a variety of purposes, such as to store your preferences so that they are available for the next visit, and to keep a more accurate account of how often you visit our Site, how often you return, how your use of the Site may vary over time, and the effectiveness of advertising efforts.

Cookies may be placed on your device by PROCEPT BioRobotics as the Site operator. These Cookies are called “first party” Cookies. Some Cookies may be placed on your device by a party other than PROCEPT BioRobotics. These Cookies are called “third party” Cookies. For example, a PROCEPT BioRobotics partner may place a third-party Cookie on the Site to enable online chat services.

The Site may contain links or references to other websites. Please be aware that we do not control the Cookies or other tracking technologies used by other websites and this PROCEPT BioRobotics Cookie Policy does not apply to those websites.

You may manage your Cookie Preferences by changing your browser settings so that cookies from this website cannot be placed on your computer or mobile device.

To find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set and how to manage and delete them, visit www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.

Please note that other data recipients have their own data privacy policies, which may differ from ours and you would have to contact them separately with respect to opt-out requests. Visitors can opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. Alternatively, visitors can opt out of any third-party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Europe.

Currently, various browsers — including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari — offer a “Do Not Track” option. PROCEPT BioRobotics does not currently commit to responding to browsers’ Do Not Track signals with respect to the Company’s websites, in part, because, there is currently no industry agreed upon response to a Do Not Track signal. At this time, PROCEPT BioRobotics’ websites do not function differently based on a user’s Do Not Track signal. For more information on Do Not Track, see All About Do Not Track.

If you have any questions about how PROCEPT BioRobotics uses Cookies or this PROCEPT BioRobotics Cookie Policy, you can contact PROCEPT BioRobotics at the following email address: dataprivacy@PROCEPT-BioRobotics.com. Please include your contact information and a detailed description of your request or Cookie concern.

PROCEPT BioRobotics may change this Notice at any time. The “LAST UPDATED” section at the bottom of this page lists when this Notice was last revised. Any changes to this Notice will become effective when we make the revised Notice available on or through the Site.

All surgical treatments have inherent and associated side effects. Individual’s outcomes may depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to patient characteristics, disease characteristics and/or surgeon experience. The most common side effects are mild and transient and may include mild pain or difficulty when urinating, discomfort in the pelvis, blood in the urine, inability to empty the bladder or a frequent and/or urgent need to urinate, and bladder or urinary tract infection.
