“My goal is to improve the quality of life of my patients, giving them the chance to fully participate in whatever phase of life they are in,” said Dr. Ketchandji.
She chose to go into health care to help bring solutions to some of the most intimate concerns patients face.
Dr. Ketchandji counsels patients to focus on making small, consistent changes. She said, “The sum of those little changes compounds over time and makes a profound impact on your overall health goals.”
Dr. Ketchandji earned a medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2009. She completed an internship in general surgery and residency in urological surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2011 and 2015, respectively.
