Dr. Tonye Jones

Dr. Tonye Jones is a urologist at Ochsner Health. Dr. Jones received both his undergraduate degree in biological sciences as well as his medical degree from Louisiana State University. He then completed his surgical internship at the University of California in Los Angeles, where he received the UCLA Excellence in Teaching Award. He went on to complete his urology residency at the University of California in Los Angeles, earning awards in American Urological Association, STOP Cancer Seed Grant, NIH/National Medical Association Travel and NMA Excellence in Research. Dr. Jones has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2019. His clinical interests include preventive urology, general urology, stone disease, prostate cancer and kidney disease.
