Sanjay Razdan, MD, MCh, FRCS (Glasg), is board certified in urology and urologic oncology. Dr. Razdan is the Professor and Chair for International Robotic Institute for Prostate Cancer, Director and Chief Urologist for Urologic Cancer Surgery, Director for Lumenis Center of Excellence for Endourology and Robotics, Program Director for Urology Residency Program at Larkin Health System, Robotic Prostate Program for HCA Florida Kendal Hospital and Director for Endourology Robotic Fellowship Program at Larkin University Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Razdan is a global leader in da Vinci Robotic prostate surgery for prostate cancer. A pioneering scientist and surgeon, Dr. Razdan is the author of the first textbook in the world on outcomes of robotic prostate surgery. He was honored by the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow with the prestigious FRCS (Glasg) fellowship for significant contributions to the treatment of prostate cancer. Dr. Razdan was the 2018 Finalist for the Health Care Heroes Award by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and more recently was nominated as Urologist of the Year 2019 from Florida for outstanding achievement in the field of Men's Health by Man Cave Heath Organization, New York. He is also the Director of the Comprehensive Kidney Stone Center of Miami, which caters to all aspects of the treatment and prevention of kidney stone disease. First surgeon in the world to use human amniotic membrane for early return of erectile function after robotic prostate surgery; pioneered the Maximal Urethral Length Preservation (MULP) technique, which has resulted in excellent urinary control in patients undergoing robotic prostatectomy; developed a surgeon-perceived grading system for nerve preservation during robotic prostatectomy allowing prediction of return of sexual function. Excellent outcomes for urinary continence & sexual function after robotic radical prostatectomy.
