Dr. Mark Weintraub

The first physician in Manatee County to perform microwave therapy of the prostate, Dr. Mark Weintraub diagnoses and treats urology patients in Southwest Florida. He routinely performs laparoscopic kidney procedures, no-scalpel vasectomies and minimally invasive therapies for the treatment of prostate disorders. Dr. Weintraub received his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed an internship at Oakland Naval Hospital and spent the next few years as a Navy medical officer. He then completed his urology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has now been an integral part of the Manatee County medical community for nearly 30 years, including a term as the president of the Manatee County Medical Society. He holds memberships in a number of professional organizations.
