Dr. Mahmoud Khalil

Mahmoud Khalil, MBBCh, specializes in managing both benign urologic conditions and urologic cancers. His expertise includes skill in medical and surgical treatments for complex kidney stones and benign prostate enlargement. Dr. Khalil also performs leading-edge minimally invasive urologic techniques to provide expert care to his patients, including using a state-of-the-art single-port robotic approach for treating urologic cancers affecting the kidney, prostate and upper urinary tract. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Khalil is actively involved in research. His research efforts include conducting comparative studies on the outcomes of outpatient versus inpatient robotic surgery, as well as investigating organ-sparing procedures for a range of genitourinary cancers. He has authored over 35 articles published in highly respected journals, such as the Journal of Endourology, Gold Journal of Urology and British Journal of Urology. Dr. Khalil has also presented his research findings at both national and international meetings.
