Dr. Madeline Koerner

Dr. Madeline Koerner
Dr. Koerner’s impressive academic career started at Stanford University, where she majored in human biology, swam competitively, and attained All-American both academically and athletically. She was named to the Stanford University Athletic Director’s Honor Roll as well as the Pac-10 All-Academic team on numerous occasions.
From there, she worked in process improvement with the goal of improving the quality of patient care and hospital efficiency. This experience piqued her interest in pursuing a medical degree and an MBA simultaneously, a feat accomplished at the University of Colorado Schools of Medicine and Business.
A subsequent internship and residency at Louisiana State University saw Dr. Koerner become active in both publishing and presenting for professional audiences. Among the highlights are a book chapter on the role of urodynamics in challenging cases in female pelvic medicine and an article on the presence of women in pediatric urology that was published in the August 2020 edition of Urology.
Since her time at the University of Colorado, Dr. Koerner has presented at numerous conferences. She received the Top Prize in Humanities and Bioethics (2014; Poster Presentation, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus 28th Annual Student Research Symposium) and the Top Prize in Practical Advances in the Care of Hospitalized Patients (2013; Poster Presentation, 11th Annual Hospital Medicine Rocky Mountain Symposium.)
Dr. Koerner is committed to making sure her patients receive fair and equal access to top-notch care. She is currently seeing patients in our Boulder and Superior locations.
