Dr. Jonathan Demeter

Dr. Jonathan Demeter completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Dayton in Chemical Engineering, then furthered his studies, earning his Masters of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Toledo. He received his Medical Degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Biological Sciences. Staying in Toledo, Ohio he completed his internship in general surgery and then residency in urology at the University of Toledo Program. Dr. Demeter especially enjoys the endoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries that a urologist can offer patients to cure their ailments including renal stones, BPH, genitourinary cancer, and urinary incontinence among others. Prior to starting practice in Denton, Texas he was a resident board member of the Ohio Urological Society and organized the annual state meeting in 2022. Jonathan has published his work in many publications including the American College of Surgeon’s Bulletin, Urology Case Reports, and American Journal of Men’s Health. He moved to Texas to be closer to family and in his free time enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and two children. Dr. Demeter practices general urology offering minimally invasive and robotic surgeries in the community of Denton, Texas.
