Dr. John Adams

John B Adams II MD is a board certified urologist practicing at MUSC as a Clinical Assistant Professor. A native of Savannah , Dr Adams earned a medical degree at Emory University in Atlanta followed by a Urological Residency also at Emory. This was followed by a fellowship in Endourology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. After serving as a full time faculty member at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr Adams was in private practice in the Lowcountry of South Carolina near Beaufort, Bluffton and Hilton Head. In addition to clinical practice of general Urology at MUSC, Dr Adams is involved in as an attending at the VAMC in Charleston. Special interests include complicated stone management and minimally invasive treatment of BPH and prostate cancer.
