Joe O. Littlejohn, Jr., MD is a board-certified urologist and Assistant Professor of Urology at the Zucker School of Medicine, serving as Chief of Urology at South Shore University Hospital. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and male voiding dysfunction, offering advanced, minimally invasive therapies—including Aquablation—to relieve urinary symptoms while preserving sexual and urinary function.
Dr. Littlejohn earned his MD from the University of Connecticut, completed urology residency at Howard University Hospital, and pursued a fellowship in Neuro-urology and Voiding Dysfunction at Columbia Presbyterian. With more than two decades of clinical experience, he has extensive expertise in endourology and surgical management of BPH and has published on transurethral therapies and men’s health, reflecting his commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
