Dr. David Kuppermann
Dr. Kuppermann graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yeshiva University with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, and completed his general surgery internship and Harvard Urologic Surgery residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He then completed fellowship training in Urological Oncology with a focus on Minimally Invasive treatments for prostate cancer at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Kuppermann specializes in minimally invasive treatments for BPH (prostate gland enlargement) and prostate cancer. He also provides the most cutting edge treatment for men and women experiencing a multitude of general urological conditions.
His research has focused on evaluating novel imaging modalities for the diagnosis of prostate cancer, exploring and assessing the role of active surveillance, and several focal therapy treatments including: HIFU, cryoablation, and Focal Laser Ablation for treatment of prostate cancer. He has published extensively in this area and has presented at many national meetings.
