Dr. Abraham Spence

Dr. Abraham Spence is the Chairman of the Department of Surgery and a distinguished urologist at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his urologic surgery training at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. A diplomate of the American Board of Urology, originally from Pittsford, New York, Dr. Spence graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Rochester, where he majored in Biology and Chemistry, with a minor in Economics & Business Education from the Simon School of Business. Dr. Spence joined AtlantiCare as the Co-Medical Director in January 2022 to transform regional urologic care. Dr. Spence is dedicated to advancing patient care through a multidisciplinary approach, emphasizing innovative and comprehensive treatment solutions in urology, specializing in advanced treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
