Brian McGillick

Brian McGillick, M.D. is a board-certified urologist practicing in New Bern, North Carolina, where he cares for patients through the CarolinaEast Health System. He began his academic journey at the United States Naval Academy, then earned his MD and PhD from the Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center, and completed his urology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. McGillick provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of urologic conditions, with a focus on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and the management of lower urinary tract symptoms. His clinical practice includes advanced evaluation and treatment of urinary urgency and frequency, recurrent urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, and complex stone disease. He is experienced in minimally invasive procedures — including ureteroscopy and modern endoscopic techniques — and delivers evidence-based management for prostate cancer and general urologic disorders. Dr. McGillick is affiliated with CarolinaEast Medical Center and Carteret General Hospital, and is currently accepting new patients. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, and watching baseball.
