Dr. Chintan Patel, MD is board certified by the American Board of Urology. His expertise includes Kidney Stones, Benign Prostate Hypertrophy as well as Kidney and Prostate Cancer. As a graduate of Brown University Medical School, Dr. Patel also completed a General Surgery Internship and Urological Surgery Residency at Lahey Hospital and Medical School. Dr. Patel is certified to use the DaVinci Xi and Si Robotic Surgical Systems. He is well published in many areas of urology, including bladder cancer, urethral stricture disease, intravesical Botox therapy as well as outcomes of robotic surgery. Dr. Patel, MD is a firm believer in optimizing quality of life in all his patients. "I treat the patient, not a lab value or a disease process." He encourages an active, healthy lifestyle which has shown to have positive outcomes for overall health as well as urological health. He understands that every patient is different and provides treatment plans to meet the individual needs of his patients.
