Vidhush Yarlagadda

Dr. Yarlagadda is a board certified general urologist with an interest in robotic urologic and complex endoscopic procedures. He is a native of middle Tennessee and grew up in Nashville. He graduated from University of Alabama where he received a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. He then returned home for medical school where he received his MD degree from Meharry Medical College. During this time, he also did 2 years of research in cancer biology. Following this, Dr. Yarlagadda went to University of Alabama Birmingham where he completed his intern year in General Surgery followed by residency in Urology. Dr Yarlagadda’s wife, Sandhya, is also a Nashville native. They have two sons, whom they are excited to raise in middle Tennessee. In his spare time, Dr Yarlagadda enjoys traveling with his family, working out in the yard, playing the guitar, and playing golf (poorly). Dr. Yarlagadda’s passion is to provide patient-centered care. During his training, he worked on numerous quality improvement projects that focused on methods to improve the patient experience within the healthcare system. “There are many ways to treat any given issue, and it is only through understanding who a patient is that we can work together to find the best possible treatment.”
