Ms. Maya Harris

Maya Harris is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with over 25 years of experience, specializing in BPH surgery and kidney stones. She has pioneered procedures such as Urolift, Rezum, and GreenLight laser prostatectomy and is among the first in the West Midlands to perform Aquablation. Mrs Maya Harris studied at the Medical Academy of Latvia and University of Edinburgh, then worked and trained in hospitals in the north of England, including the renowned The Christie Hospital in Manchester, the largest single site cancer centre in Europe. At The Christie, Maya undertook a fellowship, the highest form of specialist training, concentrating on urological cancers. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, the American Urological Association, and the European Urology Association, where she received the Campbell Prize. With a master’s degree in translational medicine, her research explored biomarkers for prostate cancer risk. Since 2013, she has been a consultant urologist at Warwick Hospital. “My priority is ensuring patients feel comfortable and understood.
