Karen Tart

Karen M. Tart, MD is a board-certified urologist who provides comprehensive care for adult patients with a wide range of urological conditions. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating cum laude. She went on to receive her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Tart completed her residency in urology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Understanding the personal and often sensitive nature of urologic concerns, Dr. Tart is dedicated to creating a welcoming, respectful environment where patients feel heard and supported. She partners closely with her patients—listening carefully to understand their symptoms and goals—to develop tailored treatment plans that enhance their quality of life.
