Dr. Mohammed Al-Areef

Dr. Mohammed Al-Areef is a highly accomplished Urologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He earned his medical degree from Mosul University Medical College and completed his residency at the Royal Medical Services in Jordan. Driven by a commitment to advanced surgical techniques, Dr. Al-Areef pursued a Laparoscopic Fellowship at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and was an SIU Fellow at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo. He further specialized in Robotic and Endourology during a fellowship at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center/Tufts Medical School in Boston. Dr. Al-Areef's clinical interests encompass a broad range of urological conditions, including prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia, robotic prostatectomy, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, and bladder cancer. He is also proficient in various minimally invasive procedures for BPH, such as AQUABLATION, REZUM, PVP, and green light laser.
