Dr. Luke O’Connell

Luke M. O’Connell, MD, MBA is a practicing urologist and Senior Vice President for Network Development at South Shore Health. In his network development role Dr. O’Connell is responsible for maintaining existing strategic alliances and developing new relationships between South Shore Health and other clinical entities. Dr. O’Connell has been a member of the active medical staff at South Shore Health since 2002 when he joined as a private practice urologist. He moved into his administrative role after 15 years of clinical practice but continues to see patients for 50% of his time. Dr. O’Connell earned a BA in history from Brown University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his Urology residency at Boston University. He completed his MBA at The Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
