Dr. Kenneth Lessans

Dr. Kenneth Lessans was born and raised in Maryland, before attending college at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. He attended medical school at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He moved closer to home to complete his internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania under the direction of Alan Wein MD. He completed his pediatric rotations at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia under the guidance of renowned pediatric surgeon John Duckett MD. Dr. Lessans also served as chief resident during his final year at Penn, 1997-1998. He has special interests in bladder cancer, complex incontinence, and neurogenic voiding dysfunction. He performs radical cystectomy and neobladder surgery for bladder cancer patients.
