Dr. Ankur Parikh, MD is board certified by the American Board of Urology. His expertise includes Kidney Stones, Benign Englargement of the Prostate and Prostate and Renal Cancers. As a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Parikh MD also completed a Urology Residency Program and a General Surgery Internship at Geisinger Medical Center. He is certified to perform and interpret ultrasounds of the prostate, kidney, testis and bladder. Dr. Parikh MD is also certified to use the DaVinci Xl and Sl Robotic Surgical Systems. His many publications include such research as The Safety of Aspirin in the Perioperative Period after Robotic Prostatectomy and Nephrectomy as well as topics on Prostate Cancer and Statin Induced Autophagy. Dr. Parikh, MD is experienced in providing compassionate treatment helping men and women of all ages overcome health challenges. His goal is to provide excellent healthcare through medical treatment or surgical intervention while making sure patients feel comfortable in a supportive environment.
