Dr. Andrew Chung

Andrew Chung, MD is a board-certified urologist with more than 20 years of experience treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer, urinary incontinence, Peyronie's disease, and other urinary tract conditions. He believes in educating patients about their diagnosis and developing personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's goals and lifestyle. Dr. Chung earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan, completed his urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, and served as a urologist in the U.S. Air Force. Before joining UVA Health, he spent nearly two decades in private practice and held leadership roles, including Chair of Surgery and membership on the hospital cancer committee. Dr. Chung offers advanced treatment options for enlarged prostate (BPH), including Aquablation therapy, helping patients find effective, personalized solutions to improve urinary symptoms and quality of life.
