Dr. Alec Wilson

Dr. Wilson is a partner at Michigan Institute of Urology. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, where he was a proud member of the University of Michigan Marching Band. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University and followed with his surgical internship and urologic surgery residency at Beaumont Health in Royal Oak. Dr. Wilson's main focus areas are all urologic cancers, Male sexual dysfunction, Kidney stones, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), and Prostate disease. Dr. Wilson has authored review articles and made numerous presentations at both regional and national meetings. His interests in research have focused on Adult Urethral Stricture disease, Neurogenic Bladder, and outcomes of Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, reading, listening to music, boating, snowboarding, and spending time in the great outdoors.
